About Me
Meet Brooke Jones
My name is Brooke Jones and I am a licensed master’s level clinician with a passion for helping people heal from trauma and helping families find healing after crisis, conflict, or generational cycles of hurt. As a survivor of childhood and intergenerational (family) trauma myself, I understand firsthand the pain and isolation that comes from experiencing trauma and how difficult it can be to ask for help. I also know the relief and restoration that comes from vulnerability, self-exploration, and hard work and that is why I am so dedicated to helping my clients find that for themselves.
As a native Northeast Tennesseean, I have a deep passion for serving the community in which I live and love. My goal is always to provide quality therapy to the children, adults, and families with which I work and I strive to create a nurturing environment where you feel comfortable to explore and express yourself without judgment or fear. You are not alone in this. My commitment to you is that I will walk with you on this path as you make meaning of your experiences and find your purpose and I will always respect you as the expert of your life. I want you to be the hero of your own story!
My professional experience includes restorative justice, alcohol and drug treatment, family intervention, parenting education, substance use prevention, juvenile justice, and integrated behavioral health. Throughout my years of working with individuals and families in various therapeutic settings, I have seen the power of using a combination of therapeutic approaches to help my clients create lasting positive change in their lives. These approaches can help address a variety of issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and more. Check out my Therapeutic Modalities page to find out more about the approaches that I regularly utilize with my clients.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is watching my clients finally understand themselves and gain the skills to lead healthy, fulfilling lives. We do this in many ways and we will work together to find exercises and techniques that work best for you. One thing I enjoy sharing with my clients is my love and enthusiasm for the arts. As an artist and ceramicist, I regularly bring art into sessions with my clients. There is something truly special about using art and creativity in the healing process and I hope to share it with you in one way or another. Even if you don't consider yourself an artist, we will simply give ourselves permission to reap the benefits of process. Plus, you never know, you might surprise yourself!
If you have any questions for me or would like to schedule a session with me, please check out my Work With Me page. I look forward to meeting you and joining you on your path to healing and wellness.
I am currently under the clinical supervision of Erica Petree, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with nearly 20 years of experience. She is guiding me in my practice with her vast knowledge and experience while I have the privilege of guiding you on your healing journey.
